What happens after you send a credential: measuring views, shares and verifications

Issuing is the start, not the end. The numbers that show whether your credentials are working for learners and for your brand.

Every credential you send can travel well beyond the person who earned it. Tracking where it goes tells you which programmes people are proud of, and how much reach your brand gets from them.

The numbers worth watching

  • Open rate. How many recipients opened their credential at all.
  • Shares. How many added it to LinkedIn or shared the link.
  • Views. How often other people looked at shared credentials.
  • Verifications. How often someone checked that a credential was real.

Turning numbers into decisions

A programme with a high share rate is one learners value; feature it in your marketing. A programme with low opens may need a better email or a clearer reason to claim. And every verification is a sign that an employer or institution took the credential seriously.
