A leadership certificate template gives you a ready page for recognising people who have finished a leadership program: new managers, team leads, high-potential staff, student council members or board volunteers. Companies, business schools, training providers and associations hand them out at the end of a cohort, a workshop series or a coaching course.
A good one names the program, says what the holder practised, such as coaching, giving feedback, leading change and making decisions, and carries a date and a signature from the person who ran or sponsored it. Designs here come as certificates (A4 and US Letter) and as matching digital badges, so you can print one for the wall and send the same award by email, where it can be verified and added to LinkedIn.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Yes. Name what the program covered, such as strategic thinking, coaching and feedback, leading change, emotional intelligence and decision making. Three to six skills make the record useful to a future employer, next to the name, date and a signature.
Usually the program director or trainer, often with a senior executive, the head of people or the dean. Two signatures make it feel more official.
At the end of a program or cohort, when someone steps into a lead role, or at an annual award evening. Giving it soon after the last session keeps the achievement fresh.
A certificate records that someone completed training. An award recognises how someone led, such as a student leader of the year. The same design can serve both with different wording.
Yes. Schools, clubs and youth groups use badges for captains, prefects and committee members. A digital badge can be shared on a profile and checked by anyone who scans its code.
