Community Service certificate templates and badges
3 free designs. A set is one design as a badge, a landscape or a portrait certificate, or all three.
Free for up to 20 recipients a year
A community service certificate template gives schools, youth groups and nonprofits a ready way to close a record of hours. High schools ask for service hours before graduation, service-learning courses count them for credit, and clubs, faith groups and court programs log them site by site. When the hours are checked and signed off, the certificate is what the student or volunteer keeps.
A good one names the person, the places they served, such as a food bank, a park clean-up or a tutoring scheme, and the total hours, with the period, the date of issue and a signature from the coordinator or the site supervisor. The designs come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as badges: print one for a portfolio, and send the same award by email so colleges and employers can verify it online.

FAQ
Questions, answered
It depends on the school or the district. Many high schools ask for somewhere between 20 and 100 hours before graduation, and some honour societies and scholarships set their own number. Check the rule that applies and put the exact total on the certificate.
It helps. A list of sites with the hours at each one shows how the total was reached, and a counsellor, an admissions office or a court officer can check it against the log without asking for more papers.
Usually the program coordinator who keeps the log, often with the supervisor at the site where the work was done. Schools may add a counsellor or the service-learning lead. Each signature should carry the person's role.
Each pin is one place served, and the numbers match the list beside the map, where each site has its hours and the total sits underneath. Change the site names and hours in the studio; the map itself is a drawing and does not show a real town.
Courts and probation offices usually have their own completion form, and that form is the official proof. A certificate from the organisation where the hours were done can go with it as a record of the work, but it does not replace the court's paperwork.
As soon as the hours are checked against the log, so the student has it for applications and deadlines. Many schools also present them again at an end-of-year assembly or a service awards evening.
