Football certificate templates and badges
3 free designs. A set is one design as a badge, a landscape or a portrait certificate, or all three.

A football certificate template gives a coach or league a ready way to close the season properly. Youth leagues, flag-football clubs, high-school and college athletic departments and booster clubs hand out football awards at the end-of-season banquet: MVP, offensive and defensive player of the year, most improved, team captain, the scholar-athlete, and often a certificate for every player on the roster.
A good one names the player, the award and the season, then says in a line or two what made the year special. Add the numbers that mattered, such as rushing yards, touchdowns, tackles or interceptions, along with the position, the level and the team, and have the head coach sign it.
The designs here are American football (gridiron) templates. They come as certificates for A4 and US Letter paper and as digital badges, so a player can hang the award on the wall and share a verified copy online.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Most teams give an MVP, offensive and defensive player of the year, special teams player of the year, most improved and a coach's award for effort or attitude. Many add a team captain award, a scholar-athlete award for grades, and a participation certificate for every player.
Pick two to four numbers that fit the position: rushing or receiving yards and touchdowns for a skill player, tackles, sacks or interceptions for a defender, and completions or passing yards for a quarterback. For linemen and young players, honours such as all-conference or a perfect attendance record often say more than statistics.
In most youth and flag leagues, yes. Every player gets a certificate for the season, and a few named awards recognise standout effort. A personal line about each child, such as best blocker or always first to practice, makes a participation certificate feel earned.
The head coach should sign almost every football award, because the players know the coach saw their season. For a school team, the athletic director or principal often adds a second signature. In a youth league, the league president or the team's coordinator is a common second signature.
Usually at the end-of-season banquet or team party, a week or two after the last game, when final stats are in and coaches have voted. Some teams also give game balls or weekly awards during the season and save the certificates for the banquet.
These designs show the American football field: end zones, yard numbers and a laced ball. They suit tackle, flag and youth football. Soccer teams should use a soccer design, since the field markings and the ball are different.
