Design notes

Here the field is viewed from behind the goal line. The award title is painted in block capitals across a striped navy end zone with a pylon at each corner, the sidelines run down both long edges with their ticks, and the 10 to 50 yard numbers climb toward the goal. The tall field holds the logo, the organisation, the player's name, the program and a citation, then two columns ruled on the yard lines: season highlights on the left and the record on the right (season, position, level, team, issue date, credential ID), with the coach's and the athletic director's signatures around the QR code.

About

Football Award Certificate Template, End Zone Portrait

Plenty of football programs print their awards upright: it fits a standard frame on a bedroom wall, a banquet table display or a scrapbook page, and it gives room for a fuller season record. Coaches of youth, flag, high-school and adult league teams use it for the MVP, an all-conference pick, the team captain, a scholar-athlete or every player who finished the season. Parents keep it long after the jersey is outgrown.

Wording on the template“For an outstanding season on the field: leading the team in rushing, scoring when it counted, and setting the standard for effort, toughness and sportsmanship at every practice, every film session and every game.”

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see your award and your season record, download a copy to print for your wall, or share it with family, friends and recruiters on social media.

Post for the recipient to share

Proud to receive the team's MVP award for this football season. None of it happens without my offensive line, my coaches who pushed me every practice, and teammates who showed up every week. Thank you to everyone who made this season one to remember. On to the next one. #Football #SeasonAwards

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
