A sales award template gives sales leaders a ready way to put a result on record: a quarter closed above quota, a region that grew its revenue, a team that won a new market, or a place in a quota club such as President's Club. Companies present them at the sales kickoff, the quarterly business review or the year-end meeting, and distributors and franchise networks use them to thank channel partners.
A good sales achievement award is specific. It names the period, the category and the results behind it, such as quota attainment, new accounts or win rate, and it is signed by the vice president of sales or the head of revenue operations who confirmed the figures.
The designs here come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as badges, so the same award can hang on the wall by the sales floor and travel to the recipient's LinkedIn profile.
Wording
What to write on a sales award certificate
Use these lines as they are, or as a start for your own. Every template comes with wording you can change in the studio.
Wording for a quarterly or annual sales achievement award
- “In recognition of outstanding sales results in the third quarter, closing at 135% of quota.”
- “For a year of disciplined selling that grew regional revenue and opened 24 new accounts.”
- “Awarded for exceeding the annual sales plan with the highest win rate in the region.”
Wording for an award for sales teams and regions
- “Presented to every member of the Northern Region team for beating the quarterly target together.”
- “In recognition of a team that built the pipeline, closed with care and delivered record growth.”
- “For a launch quarter in which the whole team passed its number.”
Quota club and President's Club lines
- “Welcome to President's Club, earned by finishing the year above 100% of quota.”
- “Member of the Quota Club for the fiscal year, with thanks for results that moved the business forward.”

FAQ
Questions, answered
Choose measures your team already tracks and trusts: quota attainment, revenue or margin growth, new accounts won, win rate, or renewals kept. State the measure and the period on the award, for example 135% of quota in Q3, so everyone can see what was earned.
Give a team or region award when the group reaches its target together, and issue one certificate per person with the team's name in the program or category, so each member has a personal record to keep and share.
President's Club is a common name for the group of sellers who finish the year above a set level of quota, often rewarded with a trip. A certificate or badge gives each member a lasting, verifiable record of the place they earned, long after the trip is over.
Usually the vice president or director of sales, often with the head of revenue operations or sales operations, who checks the numbers. For a channel or partner award, the channel manager and a senior leader of the vendor sign it.
Not always. Present it soon after the period closes and the numbers are final, at whichever comes first: the quarterly business review, a team meeting or, for annual awards, the sales kickoff. Presenting it in front of peers matters, and sending the digital version the same day lets the recipient share it while the win is fresh.
