An osha certificate template helps a training provider record a safety course built on OSHA standards under its own name. Safety training companies, employer EHS departments, union training centres and college workforce programmes give one to workers, foremen and supervisors when they finish a course in hazard recognition and control, often a 10-hour or 30-hour course for general industry or construction.
A good certificate names the worker, the course and the track, lists the topics covered, such as walking-working surfaces, electrical safety, PPE and workers' rights, and shows the contact hours, the standard (29 CFR 1910 or 1926), the date, a valid-until date and who signed. The designs here come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as badges.
These templates are the provider's own completion record. They are not the course card of the OSHA Outreach Training Program, which only authorized trainers can get for their students, and they carry no agency logo and suggest no agency endorsement.

FAQ
Questions, answered
No. The Department of Labor course card comes only through an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer after an approved course. A provider's certificate records the training it ran. It can sit beside that card, but it cannot replace it and must not be shown as one.
No. Outreach courses are training, not a certification or a licence. Some OSHA standards require specific training for certain jobs, and the employer is responsible for making sure that training took place and is recorded.
The one the course followed: 29 CFR 1910 for general industry, such as factories, warehouses and healthcare, or 29 CFR 1926 for construction. A course that covers both can name both.
The federal outreach card has no end date, but some states, cities and many employers ask for refresher training every few years. If your organisation sets a refresher period, show it as a valid-until date on the certificate.
The main units of the course, for example hazard recognition, walking-working surfaces, electrical safety, hazard communication, PPE and workers' rights. Add the contact hours so an employer can see how long the training took.
They draw the hierarchy of controls taught in most safety courses: elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls and PPE, from most to least effective. It reminds the reader that protective equipment is the last line of defence.
