Design notes
This landscape version turns the left side of the page into a desktop: five one-bit pixel icons stand in a column, each with its label, and a dotted selection rectangle holds all five, with the arrow pointer resting where the drag ended. To the right sit the organisation, the learner's name, the course, a statement of what they can now do, a row with duration, level, issue date and credential ID, two signatures and a scan-to-verify code. A clear, friendly choice for a framed print on the classroom wall.
About
Computer Course Certificate Template, Desktop Icon Column
A basic computer course takes adults and young learners from a first mouse click to everyday digital tasks: using the keyboard, saving and finding files in folders, writing a letter in a word processor, filling a simple spreadsheet, searching the web and sending email without falling for a scam. Libraries, adult education centres, community colleges, computer training institutes and employers that upskill their staff hand out a certificate of completion when the classes and practice tasks are done.
Wording on the template“Can now use a computer with confidence after hands-on practice in class: organising files and folders, typing and formatting documents, building simple spreadsheets, browsing the internet, sending email safely and keeping their work saved and backed up.”More wording ideas for basic computer course certificates

Subject: Well done, name: your computer course certificate is ready
Hi name,
Congratulations on finishing the course. Week by week you went from the basics to working with files, documents, spreadsheets and email on your own, and that took real effort.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the skills you covered, download a copy to print for your records, or share it on LinkedIn or with an employer. They can check it is genuine with the QR code.
We hope to see you on the next course.

Post for the recipient to share
A few months ago I was nervous about using a computer at all. Today I finished my basic computer skills course: I can organise my files, write and format documents, build a simple spreadsheet and use email with confidence. Thank you to my tutor for the patience in every class. Next step: putting these skills to work. #DigitalSkills #LifelongLearning

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
