Design notes

On this upright page the column grid runs top to bottom, with four lettered bubbles and three numbered lines. The organisation, the title and the recipient's name stack in the middle bay under a dimension string that reads 10 HOURS, followed by the program, a short statement and four numbered skill tags beside an orange APPROVED stamp with the date. A full-width title block at the foot holds the duration, standard and level, two signatures, a scannable QR code and the credential ID.

About

Construction Certificate Template, Column Grid Portrait

Many site offices keep training records in upright binders and post them on a portrait notice board by the gate, so a tall certificate fits how the construction industry files proof of training. Employers, safety consultants and vocational colleges give it to labourers, apprentices and new starters who complete a construction training course, from fall protection and scaffold safety to hazard communication.

Wording on the template“Completed classroom and site-based safety training and showed safe work practice, hazard awareness and sound judgement on an active construction site.”

Subject: name, your construction training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Well done on finishing your construction training. You put in the hours, learned to spot the hazards and showed you can work safely on site.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the course, the hours and the skills it covers. You can download a copy for your records, print it for the site office, or add it to your LinkedIn profile so future employers can check it.

Stay safe out there, and thank you for taking the training seriously.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I just finished my construction safety training: 10 hours on fall protection, scaffolds, power tools and hazard communication. Every site I work on now, I know what to look for before something goes wrong. Thanks to the trainers who made it practical and to my crew for the support. #ConstructionSafety #SkilledTrades

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
