Design notes
The portrait page is a tall pot dipped in glaze. The name and course title stand in a large glaze field. A deep, uneven glaze edge with three long drips crosses the lower part of the page, and the bare speckled clay below holds two signatures, a chop mark, the credential ID and the issue date. A QR code and a logo space sit at the top. It suits teachers who want an upright print with a craft feel.
About
Pottery Course Certificate Template, Portrait
Pottery courses teach a student to prepare clay, throw on the wheel, build by hand, trim a foot and glaze a piece for firing. Ceramics schools, makerspaces, potters running home studios and community colleges issue a certificate when a learner completes the course, and it is often printed to hang in the studio or at home.

Subject: Your pottery certificate is ready, name
Hi name,
Thank you for spending your time at the wheel with us. From your first wobbly bowl to the pieces you now shape with confidence, you have learned the craft with care and patience.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print, or add it to your LinkedIn profile if you want to share your new skill.
Congratulations, and we hope to see you in the studio again soon.

Post for the recipient to share
I just finished my pottery course and received my certificate. I learned to centre clay, throw on the wheel, trim, glaze and fire my own pieces. It taught me patience, and every cracked pot was a lesson. Thank you to our instructor and the whole studio for a wonderful class. #Pottery #Ceramics #NewSkills

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
