Design notes
This landscape layout borrows the look of a fine-art print: the record sits inside a pressed intaglio plate mark, with the owner's name in copperplate script and the title of the work in carmine italic, a tombstone row for medium, size, signature and edition, a short statement and the checks made by the issuer, with a QR code in the plate's corner. Below the plate, as an artist numbers a print, run the register number, the issue date and two pencil signatures, beside a blind chop pressed into the margin. It suits galleries and independent artists who want a quiet, archival record.
About
Artwork Certificate of Authenticity, Plate Mark Landscape
An original painting, drawing or limited print is worth what its paper trail can prove. Artists, galleries, print studios and dealers issue a certificate of authenticity when a work is sold or transferred, so the owner can show it later to an insurer, a lender, an appraiser or the next buyer. A good one names the work and its owner, records the medium, size, signature position and edition, and gives a register number the issuer can look up.
Wording on the template“This certifies that the work named here is an original by the artist, signed by hand, examined in person and entered in our register under the number below. Keep this certificate with the work.”More wording ideas for certificate of authenticity certificates

Post for the recipient to share
A new piece has joined my small collection, and it came with its certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist and recorded in the gallery's register. It is a good feeling to know the story of a work is kept safe along with the work itself. Thank you to the artist and the gallery team for the care they took. #ArtCollecting #OriginalArt

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
