Design notes
Here the plate mark is tall, as on a vertical print. CERTIFICATE OF sits small above a large AUTHENTICITY, followed by the owner's name in script and the work's title in carmine. Two columns share one hairline: The Work, with medium, size, signature and edition, and Verified by the Issuer, with the four checks. The QR code is centred at the foot of the plate, and the margin under it carries a blind chop, the register number, the issue date and the registrar's and artist's pencil signatures. It suits studios that frame the certificate or mount it on the back of the work.
About
Artwork Authenticity Certificate, Plate Mark Portrait
Collectors keep the papers for a work in a folder or sleeve with the invoice and the condition report, and a portrait page files there neatly. Painters, printmakers, photographers and sculptors give this certificate with each original or numbered edition; galleries and auction houses issue it at the sale, and it travels with the work every time it is lent, insured or resold. It should say exactly which work it covers and who checked it.
Wording on the template“This certifies that the work named here is an original by the artist, signed by hand, examined in person and entered in our register under the number below. Keep this certificate with the work.”More wording ideas for certificate of authenticity certificates

Dear name,
Thank you for adding this work to your collection. Its certificate of authenticity is ready: it records the work, its details and our register number, signed by the artist and our registrar.

With warm regards from the studio.

Post for the recipient to share
A new piece has joined my small collection, and it came with its certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist and recorded in the gallery's register. It is a good feeling to know the story of a work is kept safe along with the work itself. Thank you to the artist and the gallery team for the care they took. #ArtCollecting #OriginalArt

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
