Design notes
This landscape version stands the provider algorithm up in a column on the left: four step boxes, the Shockable? diamond, the YES lane through one amber shock, the NO lane and the every-2-minutes loop. The chart's exit runs along the foot of the page as a record line with the issue date, credential ID and valid-until date, and ends in the QR code. The text column holds the name, program, a short statement, skills chips, duration and assessment, and two signatures. It reads like a well-set clinical reference card.
About
BLS Certificate Template, Algorithm Loop Landscape
Basic life support training is a job requirement in most clinical roles, from wards and emergency departments to ambulances, dental surgeries and clinics. The course covers high-quality CPR for adults, children and infants, early use of an AED, bag-mask ventilation, choking relief and working as one team during a code. Hospitals, EMS agencies, nursing schools and independent training centres issue a certificate once the learner passes the skills test and the written exam, and most employers ask for proof again every two years.
Wording on the template“Passed the BLS skills test and written exam: high-quality CPR for adults, children and infants, early AED use, bag-mask ventilation and resuscitation as one team.”More wording ideas for basic life support (bls) certificates

Subject: name, your BLS certificate and badge are here
Hi name,
Well done on passing your Basic Life Support course. In the skills test you showed that you can run your part of a resuscitation: compressions, the AED, ventilation and clear teamwork.
Your certificate and badge are ready. Open them to check your details, download a copy for your staff file or credentialing office, print one if you need it, and share the badge on your profile. The valid-until date shows when your renewal is due.
Thank you for keeping your skills current for your patients and your team.

Post for the recipient to share
I completed my Basic Life Support renewal course this week. The skills test covered high-quality CPR for adults and infants, the AED, bag-mask ventilation and working as a team through a full scenario. Practising with colleagues always reminds me how much clear roles matter. Thanks to our instructors for a focused session. #BLS #Healthcare #Nursing

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
Certificate or badge?
Send both. They do different jobs.

Yes. Every text, colour and drawing is its own layer in the studio. Add your logo in the logo spot; the design keeps its balance with a wide or a square logo.
