Design notes

The portrait page makes the room its hero. Under the logo and the title, two identical armchairs turn toward each other around a small table with tissues and a glass of water, and their dotted lines of sight meet at a clay point just above the learner's name. Below follow the program, the statement, the skills in two columns marked with short clay dashes, a row with the issue date, valid-until date and credential ID, two signatures and the QR. The tall format suits a binder, a portfolio or a narrow wall.

About

Counselling Certificate Template, Two Chairs Portrait

Who takes a counseling skills course? Often people who already help others at work: a school teacher who supports pupils, a pastoral lead, a nurse, a line manager, a volunteer on a listening line. Over several weeks they practise attentive listening, building rapport, careful questioning and working inside ethical limits, and the course ends with assessed practice reviewed by a supervisor. The certificate is the record they file with their training log or show to an employer.

Wording on the template“Completed ten weeks of training and supervised practice sessions, showing the attentive listening, empathy, clear questioning and ethical care that every helping conversation asks of its practitioner. Assessed on recorded sessions and reviewed in supervision.”

Subject: name, your counseling skills certificate is ready

Hi name,

Congratulations on completing the counseling skills course. Over these weeks you practised listening closely, building rapport, asking good questions and holding clear boundaries, and your tutors saw that work in your practice sessions.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your training portfolio, or share the badge on LinkedIn so colleagues can see what you have learned.

Thank you for the care you brought to every session.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have completed a counseling skills course. Ten weeks of practice in active listening, empathy, careful questioning and working within ethical boundaries, with every session reviewed in supervision. I already use these skills in my work every week. Thank you to my tutors and my practice group for honest feedback and a safe place to learn. #CounselingSkills #ActiveListening

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
