Design notes
The portrait format turns the 30:2 cycle into an upright spine down the left edge: six tally gates of five, counted 5 to 30, with the long pause dropping to two red-orange breath rings beside the instructor's signature. The text column on the right carries the name, program, duration, level and skills check, a short statement, the skills shown, the issue and valid-until dates and the credential ID, with the QR code at the foot. A tall page that fits neatly in a folder, a binder or on a staff noticeboard.
About
CPR Certificate Template, Tally Count Portrait
Who asks to see a CPR certificate? A new employer filling first-aider posts, a school checking its staff, a pool hiring lifeguard trainees, a club whose coaches look after young players. The certificate shows that the holder sat a practical class on CPR for adults, children and infants, how to use an AED and how to relieve choking, and that the instructor watched them perform the skills on a manikin. Because the skills fade, providers put a valid-until date on it and invite people back for a refresher.
Wording on the template“Practiced on adult, child and infant manikins and passed the instructor's skills check: recognizing cardiac arrest, calling for help, and keeping up chest compressions at the right rate and depth until help arrives.”More wording ideas for cpr training certificates

Subject: name, your CPR training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Well done on finishing your CPR class. You kept count on the manikin, practised the breaths and used the AED trainer, and you passed the skills check.
Your certificate is ready. You can view it online, save a PDF to print for your employer or school, and share the badge on your profile. Note the valid-until date and book your next class before it passes.
Thank you for giving up an afternoon to learn this. Your team is better prepared because of it.

Post for the recipient to share
This week I took a hands-on CPR and AED class. Counting thirty compressions out loud on a manikin is harder work than it looks, and the instructor made sure we each did it right before signing us off. I am glad to be one more person at work who knows what to do. #CPR #AED

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
