Design notes
The badge keeps one sign of the written page: the pilcrow, the paragraph mark of book printing, set in blue-black ink in the centre and circled once by a quick red ring, the way a judge marks the winning entry. ESSAY COMPETITION follows the top of the cream disc and AWARD stands straight below, inside a single navy rim, so the words stay readable at thumbnail size. It belongs to the same set as the landscape and portrait certificates with the judge's ring.
About
Essay Competition Award Badge Template, Judge's Ring
Writers who place in an essay contest often want to show the result beyond the prize assembly: on a school profile, a university application portfolio, a personal website or a professional network. Schools, libraries, literary societies, foundations and youth programmes can send this badge alongside the printed certificate once the judges' results are final. It links back to the verified award, so an admissions tutor or a teacher can confirm who won and when.

Post for the recipient to share
I am happy to share that my essay won a prize in this year's essay writing competition. Writing to a strict word limit taught me to build an argument with care and to choose my evidence well. Thank you to my teachers for their feedback and to the judges for reading every entry. #EssayWriting #Writing #Education
