Design notes
The portrait page is made for a wall frame or a folder. The five steps of the primary survey run down the left margin as a rail of circled letters with their names beside them, while the text flows in its own column: title, name, program, statement, skills, details, then the QR code and two signatures. Safety green on cool white keeps it calm and easy to read, and the tall page leaves room for a long course name.
About
First Aid Course Certificate Template, DR ABC Rail
A first aid course ends with a pass in the practical assessment, and the learner needs proof they can show an employer, a school or a club. Schools, care providers, construction firms and volunteer groups often keep one for each trained first aider and note when it expires, so the record has to carry a date and an ID.
Wording on the template“The holder passed the practical assessment and the written test, and is competent to act as a first aider in the workplace until the valid-until date shown.”More wording ideas for first aid certificates

Subject: Your first aid course certificate is ready, name
Hi name,
Congratulations on finishing your first aid course. You practised the skills that matter on the day: checking the scene, CPR, using an AED and caring for someone until help arrives.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to check your details, download a copy to print for your workplace or file, or add it to your LinkedIn profile.
Thank you for taking the time to learn how to help. We hope you never need it, and we are glad you can.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
I completed a first aid course this week. We practised CPR, using an AED, the recovery position and how to stop bleeding. I hope I never need these skills, but I feel better knowing I can help if someone needs it. Thank you to our instructor for a clear, practical day. #FirstAid #CPR

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
