Design notes
On this tall page the name, program and statement sit in the upper half with plenty of space. Below them, a short vertical incision is closed by four stitches, and each knot is the bullet for one skill, with the needle taking the next bite at its foot. To the right, behind a fine rule, the duration, format, assessment, date issued and valid-until date are stacked as labelled pairs. Two signatures close the page, with a scannable code and the unique ID set between them.
About
Medical Training Certificate, Closed Incision Portrait
Many trainees keep a portfolio of the courses they complete: residents, nurses, paramedics and allied health staff show it at appraisals and when they join a new team. A portrait certificate fits that folder well. It is given after a practical course in which an instructor observes each skill, for example assessing a patient, placing sutures or managing an airway, and confirms the trainee performs it to the course standard.
Wording on the template“has completed hands-on clinical skills training, practised each procedure on task trainers and in simulation, and was observed and signed off as competent to the course standard by a qualified clinical instructor.”More wording ideas for medical training certificates

Subject: name, your clinical skills training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Well done on completing your clinical skills training. You put in the hours in the skills lab and in simulation, and your instructor has signed off each skill you practised.
Your certificate and badge are ready. Open the link to see them, download a copy to print for your training portfolio, or share the badge on LinkedIn. Anyone you share it with can check that it is genuine.
Thank you for your time and effort on the course, and good luck putting these skills to work.

Post for the recipient to share
This week I completed a hands-on clinical skills course: patient assessment, suturing, airway management and clinical documentation, practised on task trainers and in simulation, with each skill observed by an instructor. Thank you to the teaching team for their patience and clear feedback. Proud to share my badge. #MedicalEducation #ClinicalSkills #Healthcare

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
