Design notes

An upright sheet suits a bedroom wall, a trophy shelf or a framed photo collage, so this portrait version stacks the player card from top to bottom. A navy window with refractor rays, a red halftone and a gold MVP foil stamp opens the page, the name runs across the full width on a red plate, and a single hairline marks the fold to the record below. There, a citation and the season, team and selection details sit beside a ruled list of four highlights with the award date and card number. Two autographs and the QR code close the sheet.

About

MVP Certificate Template, Tall Player Card Portrait

Naming an MVP is the last act of many seasons. The head coach, often after a vote of coaches or teammates, chooses the player whose play, leadership and consistency lifted the whole team, and the award is handed over at a presentation night, a team dinner or the final home game. School athletic directors, youth league boards and club committees usually sign it with the coach.

Wording on the template“In recognition of an outstanding season. Your play, your leadership and your example made the whole team better, game after game, and your teammates and coaches named you the most valuable player.”

Subject: name, you are this season's Most Valuable Player

Dear name,

Congratulations! The coaching staff and your teammates have named you our Most Valuable Player for this season. Your play in the big moments, the way you led at practice and the example you set for younger players made the whole team better.

Your MVP certificate is ready. Open it to see the season highlights it records, download and print it for your wall, and share it with family and friends if you would like to.

Thank you for a season to remember.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Proud to be named Most Valuable Player for this season. The award has my name on it, but every highlight came from a team that pushed each other in every practice and every game. Thank you to my coaches for their trust and to my teammates for making this season one to remember. #MVP #TeamSports #Athletics

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
