Design notes

The tall page turns the crossing into a slow meander. A centred column holds the organisation, the title, the name, the program and a short statement, then a row with the duration, format, issue date and credential ID, and two signatures with the QR code between them, all standing on the far-bank rule. Below it, four engraved stones climb the water from the bottom edge, with each skill set beside its stone, so the path itself is the list of what was learned.

About

Recovery Certificate Template, Stepping Stones Portrait

A portrait certificate suits the way a recovery record is often kept: framed on a wall at home, slipped into a folder for a sponsor, a mentor or a new employer, or printed for a family who saw every week of the effort. Recovery centres, support groups and community services give it at the close of the program to say that each stage was met with care, without naming why the person came.

Wording on the template“In recognition of the commitment, courage and steady effort shown at every stage of the program. Each milestone was met with care, and this work opens the way to a new start and to the days ahead.”

Subject: name, you finished the program: your certificate is here

Hi name,

You have completed the program, and we want to mark it properly. Week by week you came back, did the work and supported the people around you. That steadiness is what this certificate records.

Your certificate is ready whenever you want it. You can download and print a copy, keep it private, or share it with the people you choose. It is yours to use as you like.

With respect and warm wishes for the days ahead.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Today I finished a twelve-week program that asked a lot of me: showing up every week, building new routines and learning to plan ahead. I am proud of the steady work and grateful to the facilitators and the group who walked it with me. A new start, one step at a time. #NewBeginnings #PersonalGrowth

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Send both. They do different jobs.
