Design notes

This landscape certificate lies a racquet on its side, head to the left. The green frame is the border, a gold string bed fills the band inside it, and the whole record sits on plain paper in the sweet spot: organisation, title, the champion's name, a short statement, skill chips and event details. The shaft leaves the page on the right and separates two signatures, with the date, credential ID and QR code below. It suits finals, club championships and school tournaments.

About

Tennis Award Certificate Template, Strung Racquet

A tournament win deserves more than a name on a card. Clubs, coaches and school tennis programs hand out champion certificates at finals day, at the end of a ladder or at the year-end dinner, naming the event, the draw and the surface so the result is on record.

Wording on the template“For winning the singles title without dropping a set, with a heavy first serve, sharp work at the net and calm, clever match play in every round of the draw. A true champion of the court.”

Words that go with it

The email and the post, written for you

Subject: Your tennis award, name

Hi name,

What a tournament! Your serve, your rallies and your nerve in the big points made a real difference, and the club wanted to say congratulations properly.

Your award is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for the wall, or share it with family and friends.

Well played, and see you on court.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I am proud to share my tennis tournament award from our club. It came after a long run of early practices, tight matches and great support from my coach and teammates. Thank you to everyone who played, watched and cheered. #Tennis #Sportsmanship #Teamwork

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge

  • A small image people put on LinkedIn and in email signatures
  • Carries the verified details inside it (Open Badges 2.0)
  • One click shows who earned it and who issued it
