Design notes
This landscape version is laid out like the Employee Spotlight page of a staff newsletter. The organisation sits in the nameplate, a berry halftone spotlight falls on the employee's name under a "Thank you," and the thanks reads as a short article with a drop cap and a pull quote. An At a Glance box lists what they are recognised for, the issue date and the credential ID, and the footer carries two signatures with roles and a QR code to verify. It suits companies with a friendly, editorial voice.
About
Employee Appreciation Certificate, Spotlight Landscape
A certificate of appreciation tells an employee, in writing, that their work was noticed. Unlike a performance award, it does not rank anyone: it thanks a person for care, reliability or the extra hours behind a project. HR teams and line managers give it on Employee Appreciation Day, at a team meeting or at the end of the year, and it often goes to everyone in a team at once.
Wording on the template“Thank you for the care and effort you bring to our team every day. Your dedication, your positive attitude and your hard work make a real difference to the people you work with and to everyone we serve. We are proud to have you with us, and we wanted everyone to know it.”More wording ideas for employee appreciation certificates

Subject: Thank you, name: a note of appreciation from the team
Hi name,
We wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The care and effort you bring to your work make a real difference to the people around you, and we do not say it often enough.
Your certificate of appreciation is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print, or share it on LinkedIn so your network can see it too.
Thank you for all you do. We are glad to have you on the team.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
Today my team surprised me with a certificate of appreciation, and it meant more than I expected. It is easy to think the everyday work goes unnoticed, so it was good to hear that it does not. Thank you to my manager and my colleagues for the kind words, and for being people I am happy to work with every day. #EmployeeAppreciation #Teamwork

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
Certificate or badge?
Send both. They do different jobs.
