Design notes
On this landscape page a stitched charcoal band crosses from edge to edge with the four skills printed on it, and the windlass rod stands on the centre axis in its orange clip. A white strap marked TIME hangs from under the rod and records when it was issued, when it runs out and its credential ID. Program details sit at the left, a QR code at the right, and two signatures with their roles close the record. It is a calm, non-graphic look for a wall or a training file.
About
Stop the Bleed Certificate Template, Windlass Landscape
Hands-on bleeding control training teaches ordinary people what to do in the first minutes after a serious injury: spot bleeding that is life-threatening, call for help, press hard on the wound, pack it and apply a tourniquet. Instructors at hospitals, schools, workplaces and public safety agencies give a certificate of completion when each learner has shown these steps on a trainer, and many set a date for a refresher class.
Wording on the template“has completed hands-on Stop the Bleed training and shown, on a trainer, that they can recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and with confidence to control it until professional help arrives.”More wording ideas for stop the bleed certificates

Subject: name, your bleeding control training certificate is here
Hi name,
Thank you for joining our bleeding control class and for practising every step on the trainers, from firm pressure to the tourniquet. You are now one of the people around you who knows what to do in the first minutes after a serious injury.
Your certificate is waiting for you. View it online, save a copy for your records or print it, and share it on LinkedIn if you like. Keep an eye on the valid-until date, and we will invite you back for a refresher.
With thanks, The training team

Post for the recipient to share
I spent part of this week in a hands-on bleeding control class with our safety team. We practised applying pressure, packing a wound on a trainer and putting on a tourniquet until it felt routine. I hope I never need it, but I am glad I now know what to do while help is on the way. Thank you to our instructors. #StopTheBleed #BleedingControl #FirstAid

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
