Design notes
The tall layout lets the service given run down the page as a proper list, each line ticked in orange ballpoint, under the volunteer's name written on the first line and the program in a warm serif. A small volunteer record box beside the title holds the role and term; lower down, a form strip records when it was issued, its credential ID and a QR code that anyone can scan to check it. Below it the volunteer coordinator and a director sign off on their own lines. It frames well in a standard portrait frame and reads clearly in a student's portfolio or a printed record of service.
About
Volunteering Certificate Template, Sign-Up Sheet Portrait
A portrait sheet is the shape every volunteer already knows: the sign-up list on the coordinator's clipboard at the welcome table. That makes it a natural fit for a volunteering certificate from a youth group, a school service program, a shelter or a community festival, given when someone completes a term of service and the coordinator wants to name exactly what they did.
Wording on the template“has given generous time and steady hands to our community: sorting and serving at the food bank, helping our events run smoothly and mentoring young people. Every shift made a real difference to the people we serve.”More wording ideas for volunteer certificates

Subject: Thank you for volunteering with us, name
Hi name,
Thank you for the time and care you gave as a volunteer this season. Every shift you covered and every person you helped made a real difference to our community, and we noticed.
Your certificate of appreciation is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print, or share it on LinkedIn so others can see the service you gave.
With warm thanks from the whole team.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
This season I volunteered with a local community program, helping at the food bank, at events and with younger students. Today I received a certificate of appreciation, and it reminded me how much I learned from the people I worked beside. Thank you to our volunteer coordinator and the whole team for making every shift count. #Volunteering #CommunityService

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
