Design notes

A portrait page shows the whole room: a full hemicycle of seats wraps the top of the page around the stage, with row letters up the centre aisle and one amber seat for the delegate. The logo, the organisation and the title sit inside the open floor, and the name, the event and a short statement follow below. The lower half sets the sessions attended next to the duration, credits, format, issue date and credential ID, with two signatures and a QR code at the foot. It suits organisers who want a tall, editorial page, like a programme cover.

About

Conference Certificate Template, Plenary Hall Portrait

Whether the event is a two-day summit or a week-long scientific congress, delegates often need written proof that they were there. Employers ask for it to approve the travel, and professional bodies ask for it when members log their CPD hours. The conference chair or programme director usually signs it, and it is sent by email or handed out at the registration desk on the last day.

Wording on the template“Took part in person in the full programme, from the opening keynote to the closing plenary, including the breakout tracks, panel discussions and structured networking. This certificate records the professional development time earned.”

Subject: Your certificate from the conference, name

Dear name,

Thank you for joining us at this year's conference. We hope the keynotes, the breakout tracks and the conversations between sessions gave you ideas to take back to your work.

Your certificate of attendance is now ready. It shows the sessions you attended and the hours you can record for your professional development. Open it to download a copy, print it for your files, or share it with your network.

We look forward to seeing you at the next edition.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Back from two full days at our annual industry conference. Strong keynotes, a breakout track that changed how I think about our next project, and good conversations in the hallway between sessions. Here is my certificate of attendance; the hours go straight into my CPD log. Thanks to the organisers and to everyone who spoke. #Conference #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
