Design notes

This landscape layout reads like a printed programme. The recipient's name, a statement, the program and a row with duration, credits and format fill the left two thirds, with two signatures and a QR code for verification below. On the right a gooseneck microphone stands on the base line, its ribbed neck carrying the four numbered sessions, with the date issued and the credential ID under its foot. It fits a seminar day with a clear running order.

About

Seminar Certificate Template, Gooseneck Mic Landscape

A certificate of attendance is the usual record for a seminar: it confirms that the person followed the sessions, took part in the discussion and earned the hours or credits the organiser offers. Associations and professional institutes issue one for continuing professional development logs, companies for internal learning days, and universities for guest seminar series. Attendees file it with their CPD record or show it to an employer who paid for the place.

Wording on the template“took part in the full programme, from the opening talks and the panel discussion to the questions from the floor, and completed the hours and credits recorded on this certificate.”

Subject: Your seminar certificate is ready, name

Hi name,

Thank you for joining our seminar. We enjoyed the discussion, and the questions from the floor gave the speakers plenty to think about.

Your certificate of attendance is now ready. It records the seminar, the sessions you attended and the CPD hours you earned. Open it to view it, download a copy to print or file with your CPD record, and share it on LinkedIn if you like.

We hope to see you at the next one.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I spent this week's seminar listening to people who know far more than I do about our field, and I came away with pages of notes. Thank you to the speakers and the panel for the honest answers to our questions. Pleased to add the certificate of attendance and the CPD hours to my record. #ContinuingEducation #CPD #ProfessionalDevelopment

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
