Design notes

Here the whole record becomes a running order. A tall gooseneck microphone stands down the left margin, its head bending over the title toward the name, and each block hangs from the neck as a stop: the name, the statement, the program, four numbered sessions and the details row. Two signatures, the date issued and the credential ID sit at the foot, with the QR code on the right. It suits an organiser who wants the agenda printed on the certificate.

About

Seminar Certificate Template, Gooseneck Mic Portrait

When a seminar ends, many organisers give each participant a page that lists what the day covered. Training providers, chambers of commerce, hospitals and research groups use the certificate this way, because the session list tells an auditor or a manager which topics the person heard, next to the hours and CPD credits claimed. A portrait page also frames well for an office wall.

Wording on the template“took part in the full programme, from the opening talks and the panel discussion to the questions from the floor, and completed the hours and credits recorded on this certificate.”

Subject: Your seminar certificate is ready, name

Hi name,

Thank you for joining our seminar. We enjoyed the discussion, and the questions from the floor gave the speakers plenty to think about.

Your certificate of attendance is now ready. It records the seminar, the sessions you attended and the CPD hours you earned. Open it to view it, download a copy to print or file with your CPD record, and share it on LinkedIn if you like.

We hope to see you at the next one.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I spent this week's seminar listening to people who know far more than I do about our field, and I came away with pages of notes. Thank you to the speakers and the panel for the honest answers to our questions. Pleased to add the certificate of attendance and the CPD hours to my record. #ContinuingEducation #CPD #ProfessionalDevelopment

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
