Design notes

This badge is the stamp that a company office presses onto a signed letter. WORK EXPERIENCE runs round the top of a solid violet ring, two stars sit at the sides, and the date band across the middle says COMPLETED, with PLACEMENT above it and SIGNED OFF below. The plain, one-colour shapes keep it readable as a small profile image. It suits school placement schemes, apprenticeship tasters, youth employment programs and summer work programs.

About

Work Experience Badge Template, Office Stamp

A work experience placement is often a young person's first time inside a real workplace: a week or two at a firm, a hospital, a shop or a council office, with a supervisor who shows them the job, a safety induction and a few real tasks. Schools, colleges and employers who host these placements can give a badge at the end, so the student has something to show on a CV, a college application or a first LinkedIn profile, next to the letter or certificate from the host.

Subject: Thank you for your work experience with us, name

Hi name,

Thank you for spending your work experience placement with our team. It was good to have you with us, and you took on every task with care.

Your certificate of work experience is ready. It records your role, your dates and the work you did, signed by your supervisor. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your portfolio, or add it to your CV and LinkedIn profile.

Good luck with what comes next, and do keep in touch.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have just finished my work experience placement as a Marketing Assistant, and I have the certificate to show for it. In two weeks I learned how a real team plans its work, sat in on meetings and helped with tasks that were actually used. Thank you to my supervisor and everyone who made time to explain things to me. #WorkExperience #EarlyCareers
