Design notes
The left of the page is a scissor lift in side elevation, drawn like a manufacturer's drawing. The name stands on its extended deck, and callout ticks from two pins lead to the program record (duration, machines, standard, issue date, valid-until date and credential ID) and to five skills assessed. The chassis line carries two signatures and runs on to the QR code. It suits a training centre that prints records for binders and site offices.
About
Aerial Lift Training Certificate, Side Elevation Landscape
Aerial lift operator training teaches a worker to run a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) safely: the pre-use inspection of controls, guardrails and tyres, checking the ground and overhead hazards before raising the platform, keeping within the rated load and avoiding tip-over on slopes or soft ground. The course ends with a practical evaluation, where a trainer watches the operator at the controls. Employers, equipment rental firms and safety training providers give this certificate as the training record for the person's file.

Post for the recipient to share
I have finished my aerial lift operator training and passed the practical evaluation on scissor and boom lifts. The course covered the pre-use inspection, tip-over hazards and how to stay protected at height. Thanks to my trainer for a hands-on and patient session. Safe work at height starts on the ground, and I am glad to have my training record. #WorkAtHeight #MEWP #SafetyTraining

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
