Design notes

This wide page reads like a training record on the left: the name, the course, a one-line statement, six skills in three columns, then duration, standard, issue date and valid-until date on one row, with two signatures at the foot. A full-height panel on the right is the key to the classes of fire, from A for ordinary combustibles to K for cooking oils, with the QR and credential ID under it. Calm and technical, it suits a training file or a staff-room wall.

About

Fire Safety Certificate Template, Classes of Fire Key

A workplace fire safety course is usually short and practical: how fire starts and spreads, the classes of fire, which extinguisher to pick, the PASS method in a live drill, raising the alarm and leaving the building. HR and EHS teams, facilities managers and fire safety trainers give a certificate at the end, and because most employers repeat the course every year, the valid-until date tells the next auditor when the refresher is due.

Wording on the template“Learned how fire starts and spreads, which extinguisher suits each class of fire and how to use one safely, and how to raise the alarm and prevent fires at work.”

Subject: name, your fire safety training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Thank you for taking part in our fire safety training. You now know how fires start and spread, which extinguisher to use on each class of fire, and how to use one with the PASS method, and you put it into practice in the drill.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your training file, or share it on LinkedIn. It shows when your refresher is due, and we will remind you before then.

Thank you for helping keep everyone here safe.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Today I completed fire safety training at work. I learned how fires start and spread, which extinguisher to use on each class of fire, and how to use one with the PASS method, and I got to practise on a real extinguisher in the drill. Small skills, but the kind you want everyone in the building to have. #FireSafety #WorkplaceSafety

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
