Design notes

The left half is an architect's evacuation plan: five numbered rooms with their doors, a stair, an amber you-are-here mark and a green route down the corridor, out of the final exit and, dashed, to the assembly ring beside the name. On the right sit the title, the name, the program and a statement. A drawing title block holds the zones-swept key, the issue date, credential ID, valid-until date, duration, two signatures and the QR code.

About

Fire Warden Certificate Template, Evacuation Plan

Fire warden training, also run as fire marshal training, prepares staff to lead an evacuation in their own part of a building. The course covers the warden's duties, fire risk and hazard awareness, escape routes and final exits, the zone sweep, the roll call at the assembly point and the short report to the chief warden. Many courses add the safe use of an extinguisher on a small fire. Employers, facilities teams and safety training providers issue the certificate after the course and again at each refresher.

Wording on the template“Trained to sweep a zone, guide everyone along the escape route to the final exit, take the roll call at the assembly point and report to the chief warden and the fire service.”

Subject: name, your fire warden training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Thank you for completing fire warden training and for taking on the role. You now know how to sweep your zone, guide everyone to the right exit and report at the assembly point so the roll call is complete.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your training file, or share it on LinkedIn. It shows when your refresher is due, and we will remind you before then.

Thank you for helping everyone here get out safely.

Post for the recipient to share

I completed fire warden training this week. I learned how to sweep my zone so no one is missed, guide people to the right exit, and report at the assembly point so the roll call is complete. It is a small role that matters a lot on the day of a real alarm. #FireWarden #WorkplaceSafety

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
