Design notes

This portrait version hangs the tour chart from the top edge like a clock dial seen from below, with five red-orange tags placed on the night hours. Under it the record is centred: the name, the program and a statement, then The Round, a ruled log that lists each station with its time and skill. A details row with the dates and the credential ID, two signatures and the QR code between them close the page. The tall format suits a frame on a guardroom wall or a printed staff file.

About

Security Guard Certificate Template, Tour Chart Portrait

Guarding is learned on the night shift as much as in the classroom. Guard companies, hospitals, universities, shopping centres and event organisers train their officers to walk a set route, check each point, log what they find and know what to do when something goes wrong. When the training ends, a certificate names the guard, the course and the hours, and gives a supervisor a record to check later.

Wording on the template“Trained over 40 hours and passed the final assessment, showing the judgement to patrol a site, control access, write a clear incident report, calm a conflict and respond to an emergency.”

Subject: name, your security officer training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Well done on finishing your security officer training. Over the course you worked through patrol and observation, incident reporting, access control, de-escalation and emergency response, and you passed the final assessment.

Your training certificate and badge are ready. Open them to see your record, download a copy to print for your file, or share the badge on LinkedIn. Anyone you show it to can check it with the QR code.

Stay safe on your shifts, and welcome to the team.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have just finished my security officer training: days of patrol practice, report writing, access control, de-escalation and emergency drills, with a final assessment at the end. Thank you to our trainers for the real scenarios and the honest feedback. Ready for my first shifts on site. #SecurityTraining #SecurityOfficer

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge
