Design notes
The tall page is re-drawn as a two-storey section with a steep slated roof. The logo and organisation sit in the attic; the title, name and program fill the upper storey. A tiled floor with a textured ceiling below splits the record, so the statement, skills in two columns, six details and both signatures sit downstairs around the QR. A lagged pipe climbs the left wall through both floors, and the key to the six markers runs in two rows under the ground.
About
Asbestos Awareness Certificate, Building Section Portrait
Awareness is the first level of asbestos training, meant for anyone who works on building fabric but is not employed to work with asbestos itself. Maintenance teams, installers, shopfitters and site supervisors learn that asbestos was used for decades in roofs, ceilings, insulation, flues and floors, how inhaled fibres can cause serious disease years later, and what to do when they suspect a material. Employers and training companies file the certificate in each worker's training record, often in a portrait binder beside induction sheets and permits.
Wording on the template“Trained to recognise where asbestos may be found in buildings, to understand the health risks, to avoid disturbing it, and to stop work and report suspect material.”More wording ideas for asbestos awareness certificates

Subject: name, your asbestos awareness training record is ready
Hi name,
Thank you for completing asbestos awareness training with us. Knowing where asbestos may be found, and when to stop and report, protects you, your colleagues and everyone who uses the buildings you work in.
Your certificate and badge are ready. Open them to download a copy for your training file, print one to carry to site, or share the badge on LinkedIn. The certificate also shows when your next refresher is due, so keep it handy.
Best regards, The training team

Post for the recipient to share
Completed my asbestos awareness training this week: where asbestos can still be found in older buildings, the health risks, and the simple rule to stop, keep clear and report anything suspect. Useful knowledge for anyone who drills, cuts or lifts panels for a living. Thanks to our trainers for a clear and practical session. #AsbestosAwareness #HealthAndSafety #Construction

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
Certificate or badge?
Send both. They do different jobs.
