Design notes
The portrait version runs the drawing down the centre of the page. Under the title, the supply line passes a transformer to the open disconnect with its red lock and tag; the dead line then turns at right angles and drops onto the copper bus that carries the name. Five feeders lead to the topics, then come the statement, a row with the course details, dates and credential ID, and two signatures either side of the QR code. The tall format fits a binder, a site office noticeboard or a printed training record.
About
Electrical Safety Certificate, Locked Disconnect Portrait
Before someone opens a panel, tests a circuit or works close to exposed conductors, a site manager or a client often asks to see proof of electrical safety training. The certificate is that record. It names the worker, lists what the course covered, from shock and arc flash to electrical PPE and lockout/tagout, and shows when the training was completed and when it should be repeated. Facilities teams, manufacturers and electrical contractors keep a copy in each person's training file.
Wording on the template“Completed training in safe work on and near electrical equipment: recognising shock and arc flash hazards, keeping to the approach boundaries, choosing rated PPE and putting equipment in an electrically safe work condition before work begins.”More wording ideas for electrical safety certificates

Subject: name, your electrical safety training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Well done on completing your electrical safety training. The course took you through shock and arc flash hazards, approach boundaries, electrical PPE and how to prove a circuit dead before you work on it.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the topics you covered and your valid-until date, download a copy to print for your training file, or share it on LinkedIn. Keep it close: site managers and clients may ask to see it.

Post for the recipient to share
I have completed electrical safety training, covering shock and arc flash hazards, approach boundaries, electrical PPE and lockout/tagout. The lesson that will stay with me is simple: isolate, lock, and prove it dead before you touch anything. Thank you to our trainers for a clear and practical course. #ElectricalSafety #ArcFlash #SafetyFirst

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
